The Sunskipper-class is a specialized culinary ship flying under no factional banners. It arrived in the frontier right after the [[Boyardee-class Entertainment Vessel|Boyardee-class]] has been discontinued.


The Sunskipper is known for it's well-equipped bar and kitchen areas, as well as a highly exclusive dining hall. The botany section on board allows the ship to be self-sufficient when it comes to ingredients, and it's unique solar-charged batteries allow for it power-wise.

The Kansatsu is a ship born out of convenience and need for the Cybersun Corporation. During the ICW, the syndicate's operations often relied on good intelligence. One purchase of a surplus lot of Type-S Couriers from the [[Solar Confederation]] later, and Cybersun had the blueprint for the perfect rapid scouting vessel. Initially inconspicuous (Modern port officials tend to eye any ships of this lineage with suspicion), the Kansatsu was ideally suited to conduct scouting of [[Nanotrasen]] assets, deliver agents to the field, and ferry sensitive cargos and information that could not be trusted to third-party handlers.
 
Having had a successful history, Cybersun continues to produce the design today, with the slick triangle shape often seen landing on Frontier worlds and conducting survey operations.

The Kansatsu does not follow the standard gameplay loop. It's ''heavily'' specialized, having gear pretty much just for good ol' espionage.
* You briefing room will start with two randomized mission disks. They will have some pre-made spy gimmicks.
* You can also come up with your own ideas, though. When making your own mission, keep in mind that it must NOT be antagonistic, especially if you want to steal from others. Minor, non-essential items are fine, but you SHOULD ahelp for anything more than a mug.
Also, expect that most people won't be happy with you digging through their ship. Be mentally prepared that they might want to pick a fight with you.

* Salvaging - The Scarab is also equipped with a couple plasmacutters that allow it to salvage derelicts for materials.
* Construction - Scarab's left wing contains just a maintenance area - with sufficient effort, it can be cleaned up and transformed into something fun. Maybe a bar, maybe a medical bay. Sky's the limit.
* Combat - As it stands, the Scarab has the best equipped security team out of any independent ship. This means you can creative and start a mercenary group. That won't be easy, but it's a possibility.

Description

The Kansatsu-class is a Cybersun remodel of the old Type-S SolGov Courier, rebuilt for rapid package ferrying and light surveillance operations in the Frontier. While fairly cramped, it excels at its design goals, with rapid surveys, scouting, and espionage flowing from its presence. Syndicate deployments typically include a deployment of 5, with a recommended max of 7. This is broken down into 1 captain, an intelligence officer for coordinating the field agents, an engineer, and 2 field agents. The simplicity of the hull has led to the ship becoming a widespread indicator of Syndicate interest in locations, and some models have found their way into private purchasers' hands.
